Disney Cruise Line New Ships

MEYER WERFT constructed two cruise ships for the American shipping company back in 2010 and 2011.

Disney Cruise Line revealed the highly anticipated name of the fifth Disney Cruise Line ship the Disney Wish as well as a first look at the ships. Disney Cruise ship 6 hull number 718 will be built at Meyer Werft in Germany and was originally scheduled to launch in 2022.

Each new ship will be approximately 135000 gross tons slightly larger than the newest Disney Cruise Line ships the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy and each is currently planned to include about 1250 guest staterooms. The three new ships will be powered by liquefied natural gas and at approximately 144000 gross tons and 1250 guest staterooms will be slightly larger than the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. This week rumors of Disney Cruise Line building two additional ships began to pick up steam on the internet after an article was published on Inside The MagicMy wife and I first heard rumors of two new ships with the same 2015-2016 timeline from a bartender in Skyline during our June 2012 cruise on the Disney Fantasy.

Monday through Friday 800 AM to 1000 PM Eastern time. Disney Wish is the first of three new ships that will be joining Disney Cruise Lines fleet through 2025. Disney Wish will accommodate among 4000 passengers and have 1250 cabins onboard.

The Disney Cruise Line fleet has the most beautiful ships at sea and the Disney Wish setting sail in early 2022 will be no exception. Additionally the Disney Wish is under construction and will set sail in 2022. Disney Wish is one of the new Triton Class ships.
