No Smoking Cruise Ships

Outdoor smoking is limited to about 4 or 5 spots around the ship.

No smoking cruise ships. We spent 7 days on the Carnival Breeze but we couldnt enjoy our balcony for a few days because of people breaking the no smoking rule on the balconiesCar. Smoking is only permitted outdoors on Decks 3 4 and 6 except during meal hours. Smoking is allowed on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder from 6 pm.

No staterooms aboard these ships have private balconies so thats not an option either. This also applies to e-cigarettes and extends to all interior areas including staterooms and verandas. I have no problem with ships having smoking areas even an indoor one but I do have a problem with a major public venue allowing smoking.

This policy applies to all forms of smoking materials including vapor e-cigarettes. Given that smoking is already prohibited on all outdoor decks during the bunkering process this means that guests will not be able to smoke anywhere on board for several hours. Celebrity has no smoking indoors at all including staterooms.

Cigar smoking is only permitted in the Connoisseur Club and the designated outdoor area and pipe smoking is only allowed in the Connoisseur Club. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of SeaDream s two 110-passenger luxury ships including their staterooms. Cigar and pipe smoking are only permitted in the latter.

Carnival Paradise is the only non-smoking cruise ship. It is not that popular or Carnival would build another. I remember Carnival trying the no-smoking ship but I dont think it lasted very long.
